This course is designed for Certified Nurse Assistants who desire to expand their restorative and rehab skill set. Additional emphasis on rehabilitation nursing care, family relationships and the impact of long-term illness on the family as well as the client will be included.  The Restorative Nurse Assistant course will receive a certificate of completion and will award 18 hours of CEUs for their CNA license


  • Must be at least 16 years of age or older (If student is a minor, a parent or guardian must also attend the enrollment process.)
  • Proof of current CNA certification
  • Proof of current AHA Basic Healthcare Providers  (BLS) or CPR card
  • A valid social security number and government issued ID


Applicants must complete and submit a VTI enrollment agreement to VTI for consideration.

Students accepted into the RNA training program will be notified in person or via phone.  Applicants accepted into the RNA program must submit the following: health and physical form, immunizations record and TB test.  The applicant must not have any communicable diseases, infections, psychological disorders and other conditions that would prevent the successful performance of the responsibilities and tasks required in the education and training.
