A Certified Nursing Assistant, or CNA, helps patients or clients with healthcare needs such as basic living activities. Our nurse assistant training program is approved by the California Department of Public Health.
VTI offers continuing education and contact hours for CNA/HHA, LVN/LPN and RN licenses. Continuing education and contact hours are required for license renewals.
This course, approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT), will train Licensed Vocational Nurses in Intravenous Therapy (IV) and Bloodwork. Graduates of the program receive a certification of completion for Intravenous Therapy/Blood Withdrawal and receive 30 CEUs for their LVN license by the state of California.
Our home health aide program is designed to give individual the tools to provide quality care in home care setting. Our program is approved by the California Department of Public Health and will award the CNA 26 hours of continuing education.
